These polaroids are quite notorious for this and the culprits are usually very small components known as a capacitors. Screen remains blacked out like there’s no power feeding it. When you turn it on, the power indicator light goes to life but the screen does not. Basically, the symptoms of the problem is the unit’s failure to power up successfully.
